There are several ways to use YLEOs, therefore we ask that you follow individual guidelines provided for each oil. All essential oils can be diffused, as well as applied topically. Some of the "hot" oils may need to be diluted for additional comfort on the skin. All single oils and many of the blends can be used internally as dietary supplements!
Peppermint ~ An essential oil with many uses . . . . add to herbal tea for digestive or heartburn relief. Stop hiccups by placing a drop or two of Peppermint in your palms, rub them together, then inhale deeply a few times. Relieve your headache by rubbing a drop of Peppermint on your temples, forehead and on the back of your neck. A drop of Peppermint on your tongue or under your nose will improve alertness and concentration! It also makes a great breath freshener!!
Thieves ~ An amazing antibacterial blend, Thieves can be used for so may things . . . ward off cold & flu germs by diffusing or by rubbing a drop on the bottom of your feet. Help to relieve gingivitis or gum issues by rubbing a drop of Thieves over your gums 2x per day. Add 2-6 drops of Thieves to a small spray bottle with distilled water to eliminate household germs from countertops, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, and door knobs. Diffuse Thieves to kill mold wherever it is present. Add a drop of Thieves to your morning coffee or NingXia Red to boost your immune system.
Lemon ~ This versatile oil is one of the happy citrus oils! Use Lemon to freshen the air by diffusing, or fill a spray bottle with distilled water, add 6 drops of Lemon and use as an air freshener. Add 1-2 drops of Lemon to your drinking water to detox your liver and help balance your body's pH. Rub a few drops of Lemon to remove residue from chewing gum, oil, grease spots, or crayons. Soak dishcloths overnight in a bowl of water and a drop of Lemon to disinfect and kill germs. Diffuse Lemon, or drink in water to wake up neurons and increase brain function during studying and testing!
Lavender ~ This is one of the most amazing essential oils . . . . pretty much the "Swiss Army Knife" of essential oils. When in doubt, use Lavender! I use it for relaxation by rubbing a drop or two on my wrists, or on the back of my neck. Add Lavender to the diffuser and as a linen spray at night to help you sleep. Use a few drops on reusable dryer sheets for the laundry. Dab Lavender on temples and the tip of nose for allergies. And, rub a drop of Lavender on cuts to help stop the bleeding and cleanse the wound.
Peace & Calming ~ Rub 1-2 drops of Peace & Calming on bottom of feet, as well as shoulders before bedtime to help you get quality sleep. Diffuse Peace & Calming in the room to calm active or hard to manage children. Mix Peace & Calming with massage oil for a relaxing massage. Add Peace & Calming to Epsom Salts, then add to your bath water for a relaxing bath.
